EVIA Digital Archive Project"The Ethnographic Video for Instruction and Analysis (EVIA) Digital Archive Project is a joint effort of Indiana University and the University of Michigan to establish a digital archive of ethnographic video for use by scholars and instructors."
EVIA is a digital archive of ethnographic field videos representing a wide variety of geographic areas; religious, ethnic, and cultural groups; music and dance traditions; music performances, rehearsals, and other music events; and ethnographic interviews. Videos are annotated by the researchers who created them.
Users must create their own individual free accounts for the EVIA Digital Archive. Once an individual has created an account and logged in to the archive they may create their own playlists as well as email links to playlists or specific events and scenes. They will need to log in to the archive each time they wish to access the collections.
