As a part of Idaho State University’s homecoming celebrations, the Eli M. Oboler Library invites all Bengal fans and book fans to its 2018 book sale.
On Saturday, September 29th beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 5:00 p.m., the sale will be held on the first floor of the Oboler Library at 850 South 9th Ave. The sale will feature thousands of nonfiction & fiction, academic & popular, and hardbound & paperback books. Funds collected from the book sale will go toward growing the ISU Libraries’ book collections.
The sale is a great time for students, faculty, staff, campus visitors, and Pocatello community members to pick up an arm load of great books and visit the Library to see what all it has to offer.
Historic ISU sports footage from a Special Collections digitization project will be shown during the sale. Special Collections and Archives will have on display ISU memorabilia and their current photographic exhibit, “Business and Pleasure: An exhibit of Historic Pocatello, 1956-1959,” curated by Jeffery Howard and Career Path Intern student, Kelsey Baguley. In addition to this exhibit, there will be an ISU Homecoming exhibit on the first floor, and Special Collections will be open for researchers.
