What is Bengal Giving Day?

BGD is an annual online fundraising blitz to support Idaho State University and its students. ISU started in 1901 with the dream that countless students would find success. Bengal Giving Day helps fulfill that dream by supporting our students and the programs that enrich entire communities. It’s a time when we come together with an even greater sense of pride and connectedness

What is the goal?

Our goal for Bengal Giving Day this year is to secure 1,901 gifts in 1,901 minutes. Whether it’s supporting student scholarships, research, athletics or other areas, every gift counts and makes a difference. And what if you can only make a small gift? Every contribution, no matter the size, has a direct impact on our students and the entire Bengal community, and we are grateful for your participation in Bengal Giving Day.

When is Bengal Giving Day?

Beginning Tuesday, April 11 and wrapping up on Wednesday, April 12, we have the unique opportunity to come together and make a meaningful impact on the areas we care about most at Idaho State University.

Libraries' Dean's Excellence Fund

     MAKE A GIFT

Description

Your support of the University Libraries’ Dean’s Excellence Fund provides students with critical learning support to enhance their education and tap into their creativity. Your support enables us to modernize and improve student study and learning spaces to fit the way that students learn today. Enhancements such as projectors and monitors facilitate group work, comfortable seating invites productive study and a lab for 3-D printing and video production stir creative work.

We are proud of our work to provide custom digital services and resources to reach all ISU students, regardless of where they are physically located. We offer in-person services and study and creativity spaces that are available to students ISU’s Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Meridian campuses.

Thank you for your support!

Sandra Shropshire

Dean and University Librarian
