Distance Library services are intended for currently enrolled Idaho State University students, faculty, and staff who do not attend classes or work on the Pocatello Campus of ISU. These cities are considered local: Aberdeen, American Falls, Blackfoot, Chubbuck, Fort Hall, Inkom, Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Moreland, Pingree, Pocatello, Rockford, Rockland, Springfield, and Sterling.
Book delivery to the ISU Libraries in Idaho Falls is provided at no charge. Delivery to the ISU Library - Idaho Falls is usually faster than mail delivery because items are couriered daily (Monday - Friday). For Spring 2018, book delivery to Meridian is temporarily suspended; this service is scheduled to resume in Fall 2018. ISU-Meridian users are encouraged to take advantage of the interlibrary loan service available at their local public library and/or are encouraged to visit the BSU Library to use its collection for this interim period.
Please check your local public library or nearby academic library before requesting items via Interlibrary Loan. Many public or academic libraries in your local area may have research materials that could be of value to you.
