Mission
We strive to support the efficient and effective use of library resources. We offer a variety of seminars, workshops, and classes that educate users on library navigation and strategies to locate the best information for research.
You can arrange to meet with the instruction librarian for individual instruction, or you can drop by the reference desk for help at any time they are available-- No appointment needed!
We provide both in-person and virtual library instruction. In-person instruction is located in classrooms at the Oboler Library or your regular classroom. Virtual instruction is offered live via Zoom or as a recorded presentation you can post in your Moodle course. In addition, you are welcome to use any of our pre-recorded content, such as videos and interactive tutorials useful.
If you find that your students need more consistent support from our librarians, we may be able to provide support as an embedded librarian in Moodle for the duration of your course. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns: libinst@isu.edu or jardspen@isu.edu.
