The Oboler Library at Idaho State University is pleased to announce an exhibit of artwork by ISU students in the Printmaking classes, taught by Professor Leekyung Kang.   The classes represented in the exhibit include beginning, intermediate, and advanced students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Ms. Kang began teaching at ISU this Fall when she was hired as the new Assistant Professor of Printmaking. She chose to focus the course this semester on the technique of copperplate etching. The art of printmaking encompasses quite a variety of techniques and mediums such as etching, lithography, relief, collograph, monotype, and digital methods.  For more information about ISU Art Department curriculum, faculty, etc., please see the website at https://www.isu.edu/art/ , call (208) 282-2361, or email Danielle Gribas at gribdani@isu.edu.

The exhibit runs from December 7, 2018 through January 31, 2019 in the Art area of the Oboler Library at 850 S. 9th in Pocatello. It is free and open to the public during regular library hours, which are listed here: http://isu.libcal.com/hours/ . Please note that the library will be closed from December. 22 – January 1.  For more information about art exhibits in the Oboler Library, please contact Kristi at austkris@isu.edu  or (208) 282-4073.
