Interlibrary Loan supports the research and scholarly activities of current Idaho State University faculty, staff, and students by providing access to materials not owned by the ISU Libraries. We adhere to industry standards regarding copyright. The Idaho State University Libraries reserves the right to refuse requests for materials deemed in violation of copyright law.
The Library is regularly assessed fees for fulfilling interlibrary loan requests and has so far been able to subsidize these costs. Your responsible use of this service will allow the Library to continue to do so.
While we attempt to retrieve your requested item as quickly as possible, the average time to get an article is around 2-4 days with some items taking longer and some much shorter. Physical items have to be shipped here, which could take up to 2 weeks.
If we are able to locate an article or book chapter within the libraries holding, we will provide it using your interlibrary loan account.
