One-to-One help with a librarian using online chat, virtual Zoom appointments, and the reference desk Zoom station.
The Library is observing all state and university safety guidelines, so we have closed group study rooms and the student lounge for the summer. All other public spaces are available for use. When visiting our library locations, please wear face masks, practice 6' social, wash your hands often with warm soap and water, and use hand sanitizer in order to be respectful of others and protect yourself from possible COVID-19 exposure.
If you cannot visit one of our library locations, please email the circulation department of ISU Libraries at mayfbarb@isu.edu with your desire to borrow or renew library material. Please visit our subject guide Borrow or Renew Library Materials for instructions on remote lending.
If you need a library source that is not available from our collections or database subscriptions, you can submit an interlibrary loan request for the material, including books. Please note that it may take longer to receive items in print due to the recent COVID-19 closures across the country. When we receive the item, we send an email letting you know the item is available. Pocatello Campus patrons will have the choice to either pick up the item at the Main Library or request the item mailed to the address listed in their ILLiad Interlibrary Loan account.
Idaho Falls and Meridian Campus patrons: Items will be automatically mailed to the address listed in your Interlibrary Loan account. (You will receive an email letting you know that the item is on its way to you.) To update your address log in to your ILLiad Interlibrary Loan account and select "Change User Information" from the Main Menu.
