University Libraries new agreement with Springer/Nature covers publication fees

by Jenny Semenza on 2025-05-02T00:00:00-06:00 | 0 Comments

The University Libraries’ transformative agreement with a major publisher includes the waiver of open access publishing fees for ISU authors whose work has been accepted for publication in eligible Springer/Nature journals.  This agreement was brokered by Lyrasis, a national-level consortium the Libraries is a member of, and includes over 100 other academic libraries in addition to ISU’s. The waivers, as well as the provision of ISU access to all current-year content produced by Springer/Nature, are granted in exchange for the Libraries maintaining existing Springer/Nature subscriptions.  Springer/Nature publishes Nature and Scientific American, along with 4,100 other scholarly journals.  Learn more at https://isu.libguides.com/oapublishing
