Citations!

Citing sources properly has many benefits, including giving credit to the people who you got your ideas from, preventing any accusations of plagiarism, and giving you points toward the A grade on your paper.  Citation points are guaranteed points that you can check before you turn in your paper, so doing this step right will help you to get the grades that you want.

In this guide, we pulled together some trusted resources that will help you to create the perfect citations for your paper using the style that your professor has assigned.

Citation management tools are tools that you can use to keep your research organized and that will help you to create the perfect bibliography or works cited page when it's time to turn in your project.

If you have specific questions about citations in your paper, contact us at the library or make an appointment with the Writing Center.
