The Map Collection, on the 3rd floor of the Oboler Library, has a collection of over 46,000 sheet maps. The majority of the collection comes from the U.S. Geological Survey along with an assortment from other distributors. Special Collections, located in the Library basement, also has some additional older sheet maps. Many of the maps are cataloged and can be located using the Library Catalog. In addition to the Map Collection, many other maps can be found in the U.S. Documents and Idaho Documents collections. These maps are folded and are housed in envelopes on the shelves along with the books.
