Step 1: Sign up for Mendeley
Sign up for Mendeley by visiting: https://www.mendeley.com/join
You may also see an option to sign in via your institution. This method will require you to verify your email address before you can access your Mendeley account.
Once you register, you'll be asked to provide information about your current role and field of study. If desired, you can skip this step by clicking "skip this step" at the bottom of the window.
Step 2: Install Mendeley Desktop
Dowload Mendeley Desktop by visiting https://www.mendeley.com/download-desktop/ and clicking on the icon shown below. The download option shown should match whether you are using Windows or Mac.
Download the Web Importer browser extension. This will enable you to save references into your Mendeley library with a single click.
Go to http://www.mendeley.com/import
