Finding Articles (EBSCOhost databases)

Finding Articles:

From library's homepage, use OneSearch tab. OneSearch is a search tool that allows you to search the Library Catalog along with millions of scholarly e-resources all at the same time. The results from a search are ranked, so even though your results are usually numbered in the hundreds of thousands, the best matches are found in the first few pages.

HINTS:

  • Start your search by combining your two most important keywords or phrases.  Check your search results.  Then add secondary keywords or phrases to narrow down your search.

Suggested keywords to get you started:  "date palms" and nutrition, "date palm" and benefits, "date fruit" and nutrition, demographics and consumer behavior and "dates fruit", "United Arab Emirates and "dates (fruit)"

CONSIDER THIS: Using "demographics and consumer behaviour and "dates fruit"" basic  search in OneSearch will expand  your target consumer for dates: pregnant women, diabetic patients, quail breeders!
