Interlibrary Loan / Document Delivery Services: Fees

Interlibrary Loan supports the instructional, research, and scholarly activities of current Idaho State University faculty, staff, and students by providing access to materials not owned by the ISU Libraries.

Fees

Item Price Notes:
Standard Fee for ISU Patrons Free Bill amount exceeding $25.00 to patron.  (Patron will be notified regarding fee.)
Re-order Fee $10.00 + all other incurred fees Bill our incurred fee from lending library plus any copyright fees, when applicable. (Charged on individual items ordered 2+ times.) 
ILL Overdue Fine $1.00 Per day per item. (No maximum charge)
ILL Replacement Fee $200 or lending library fee Per item. Charged on all items 2 weeks overdue. $200 or lending library fee, whichever is greater

 

Item Fee Notes
Books* maiiled to home $4.00 Per item. Includes all material that may circulate (*e.g. books, maps, videos). Service available for items located in the ISU Library collections only.
Books* delivered to Idaho Fall & Meridian Campuses Free Delivery of Oboler Library items to distance centers.  Includes all material tha may circulate (*e.g. books, maps, videos). 
Article/Book Chapter Scans Free Electronic delivery of article/book chapter scans from the Oboler Library collection to distance faculty, staff, and students.

 

Dissertations and theses available through ProQuest Dissertations and Theses A&I can be purchased for your personal collection through the Interlibrary Loan Office. The Library provides this service on a cost-recovery basis.

Average cost is $33 for a PDF file and will be charged to your Library Account when the item arrives. (Price is set by ProQuest and may change without notice. You will be notifies if the fee is higher.)
